We have curated some fun inspiration for your journey to the cultural center of Japan!

Who else is ready for some food, shrines, amazing landscapes, & more!?

Decoration Ideas

Table Decorations

Use white butcher paper rolls to cover tables, tape them underneath to have them stay, and have your residents paint or draw koi fish and cherry blossoms, or have them use their Japanese woodblock craft stamps we have provided! Follow the linked tutorials for more!

And then, there’s food!

Japanese food isn’t just sustenance, it is art, culture, and a sensory experience all in one! Have residents learn to use chopsticks to make the meal more fun or as an activity! Then make sure your meal includes one or more of the following:

  • Rice
  • Fish
  • Sushi
  • Ramen
  • Tofu
  • Edamame (in the pods, they are great for dexterity!)
  • Pickled Asian vegetables

Passport and Stamp

Keep up with all the fun destinations by printing this passport booklet. Each destination will have a stamp the resident can color to cut and glue to the passport.
